Terms & Conditions

Lessons

Lessons will be given on a term by term basis, with breaks for half terms, Christmas, Easter and summer holidays. I follow the state school term dates but am happy to accommodate the terms from the following schools :

  • Danes Hill
  • St Catherine's
  • St Teresa's

Sometimes I may be able to offer extra lessons during half term or the holidays.Students will be advised as and when these are available. They are charged and paid for separately.

Attendance

Lessons are held weekly. Students are expected to make every effort to attend regularly and punctually at the time arranged. If you are late for a lesson, your lesson will not be extended into someone else’s lesson.

For those families, who have siblings learning the piano and whose lessons are arranged back to back, there will be a sibling discount applied.

Parents may choose either:

30 minute lesson£16 (at my house)             (£14 with sibling discount)

£18 (at student’s house)   (£16 with sibling discount)

45 minute lesson£24 (at my house)             (£22 with sibling discount)

£27 (at student’s house)   (£25 with sibling discount)

Lessons cancelled or missed by pupils will not be refunded. However, I will try to make up one missed lesson per half term, subject to availability, providing I have been notified in advance. For lessons before 1pm, please let me know by the night before the lesson & for afternoon and evening lessons by midday on the day of the lesson. When a student does not attend a lesson and no voicemail, text or email is received, there will be no make up lesson offered.

If I ever need to cancel a lesson, a make up lesson will be arranged at a mutually convenient time within the same half term period. . If this can’t be arranged, the cost of the lesson will be deducted from the following term’s payment.

For adults, who do not require weekly lessons, I am very happy to arrange lessons on an individual basis, to suit your needs and requirements.
